DESCRIPTION: Local teacher and author Gord Yakimow has written two delightf
ul children's stories and he is bringing them in for purchase and signing
this Saturday (they would make wonderful gifts for the little ones in your
family this holiday season)! Come and meet Gord\, ask questions about his
process\, and take a look at the great books he has produced:\nThe Grod F
 amily’s Christmas Lights\nDespite Papa Grod’s best efforts\, the Grod
family’s Christmas lights have always looked “scruffy” and “hodge-
podgey” and “tacky” (according to Mama Grod). \nBut now\, with a fr
esh new set of high-quality Christmas lights (in Mama Grod’s favourite c
olours)\, and an eager work-crew to help him out (the three GrodKids)\, Pa
pa Grod is confident that this year’s Grod family light display will be
the best ever in the Valley of the EverGreens.\nWhat could possibly go wro
ng?\n The Grods’ Verrry Long Road Trip\nMany families have had at least
one verrry long road trip as part of their family history.\nThe Grods\, i
n their desire to escape the cold winter weather at their cabin in the Far
-off Territory of the North\, take a long road trip to the exciting UltraS
uper KiddyKarnival.\nCome and join them on their adventurous journey\, whe
re they meet a host of interesting and quirky characters.\n \nBringing yo
ur little ones with you? Gord will be visiting near our colouring area and
have special 'Grod Family' colouring sheets to share with guests that day
  too!
