On select afternoons in November and December, an area of our garden store will be dedicated to hosting small private groups coming in to create their own Winter Porch Pots. After welcoming everyone with a cup of warm, spiced apple cider, one of our talented team members will demonstrate the techniques used to create these signature pieces, and then guests will be provided with all the materials they need to craft their very own (with our assistance of course!). Costs range from $40-$60 per piece, plus applicable taxes and a setup fee.
Sessions are by pre-booking only and available Monday through Thursday, November 24-27 and December 1-4. The program lasts approximately one and a half hours and can take place any time between 2:30pm and 6pm. A minimum of seven participants is required for the session and the maximum is 20. Larger groups may be possible depending on our team members’ availability. The event will be held in one of our seasonal greenhouses, filled with colourful plants and décor! Please note, while supplemental heating is provided, weather can be cooler at this time of year so we do recommend that guests wear layers. We encourage folks to dress to play too… it’s hands-on!
