Mimosa Mingle!

Saturday November 18, 10am-12pm, Tickets $20
with part proceeds to the
Chilliwack Children's Foundation

See some of this year's beautiful winter fashions, mingle with the models, discover how to make a winter tablescape using fresh greens and eucalyptus, learn how to look your best this season with tips from the team at The Gallery Spa, meet Rosalinde Blake and her line of luxury soy candles, hear live music by Brenda Jackson, sip on a holiday mocktail mimosa and nibble on brunch bites! As a bonus, ticket holders will receive 15% off* their purchases that morning and $10 in Bonus Bucks to use in January. Please note, this is a non-alcoholic event (so younger guests are welcome!). Tickets are $20 each with part proceeds going to the Chilliwack Children's Foundation. Tickets can be purchased in-store or by calling 604.792.3799. We hope to see you there!

Pet Photos with Santa

Saturday November 25, 10am-4pm

A popular tradition among pet owners! Photos are by donation (minimum $10 donation please) with all funds raised benefitting the animals rescued and cared for by our Chilliwack SPCA. Pet food donations are respectfully declined, but if you would like to bring SPCA animals something special, new toys are appreciated. Please ensure dogs are leashed-thanks!

Winter Greens Porch Pots Demo & Do

Sunday November 26, 2pm

Watch as Pauline demonstrates how to add some WOW factor to the entrance of your home! Learn the techniques of creating a lush porch pot and hanging greens basket and then, if you wish, stay and make your own to take home! There is no cost for the demo portion; charges apply for supplies used if you wish to make your own design. Please call 604.792.6612 to register as space is limited.

Elf Academy Kids' Crafts

Sunday December 3, 2pm & 3pm

We love making crafts as much as kids do! During the session we'll guide 'elves' through making 3 garden inspired holiday crafts involving air plants, pinecones and more. Cost is $10 per child. Suitable for ages 4 and up (with parental assistance for the little ones). Please call 604.792.6612 to register and let us know which time (2pm or 3pm) you'll be joining us!

Live Owl Visits, Walks & Youth Classes

December 16, 17 & 23, 11am-3pm

The incredible creatures from Raptors Ridge Birds of Prey are back again this season! Come and see Barn, Barred, Pygmy and/or Great Horned Owls and hawks, kestrels and/or falcons too. This is a unique opportunity to see these exquisite animals up close and to learn more about them.
Guided Nature Walk, 1pm each day they're here! Looking for a more in-depth experience? Arrive at the owl station at 1pm each day and take part in a guided nature walk to the back field. There's no charge to attend, just be sure to dress for the weather!

Youth Owl Class (ages 8-15) Dec. 16, 17 & 23, 11am by Pre-Registration Only This 1hr session focusses on the secret lives of owls and why they are truly amazing in flight, hearing and eyesight. Each student will receive their own owl pellet for dissection and have a chance to meet 'Radar', the Great Horned Owl! Pre-registration is required and is limited to 10 students per class. Indoor Miniature Train Rides
& Indoor Evening Light Display

December 12-24, Times Below

All aboard! The train will be running again this year for the 12 days before Christmas! Tickets are $5 per person (tax included) and children aged three and under are free. Tickets can be purchased from our main cashier as you enter the store, then follow the 'train tracks' to the station! We're celebrating Canada in this year's display, so bring your holiday spirit eh!?

Please note, on busy evenings ticket sales may close early due to customer volume. The busiest evenings are always Dec. 22 and 23, so we strongly encourage visitors to come on an earlier evening if they can. Pets are not permitted on the train. For safety reasons, children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Train rides are on a first come, first ride basis; there are no reservations. Thank you for your understanding!

The Art of Sketching Trees

Local artist and art instructor Patrick Stedman will be sharing the finer points of sketching coniferous and deciduous trees successfully! Perfect timing for anyone wanting to personalize holiday cards or take up a new hobby for winter. Open to guests of all ages and artistic abilities. Paper and pencils will be provided. Registration is required as limited space is available.

24th Annual Gift, Craft & Antique Fair

Saturday November 4, 9am-5:30pm &
Sunday November 5, 10am-4pm

Get in the holiday spirit and get a jumpstart on your shopping at the same time! Shop from locally made products, handmade goods, collectibles, antiques, knitting, jewellery, baking, spices and so much more! Bats!

Sunday October 22, 2pm

Curious about local bats? Join us Sunday October 22 at 2pm for a special visit with Aimee Mitchell from the Community Bat Program of BC! Aimee will be sharing a presentation on bats, talk about their habits and habitats, dispel some popular myths and offer tips for helping these incredible creatures out (half of the 16 species of bats in BC are a conservation concern).

This session is oriented towards adults but children are welcome to attend, and be sure to bring your questions! There is no charge to participate but space is limited, so please call 604.792.6612 in advance to register. For more information on ‘Got Bats’, click here. Fall Fun 'Scavenger Hunt'

Saturday and Sunday October 28 & 29
During Store Hours

Bring in the little ones to search high and low for the answers to our 'Clue Search' scavenger hunt! Pick up a form from one of our team members, locate special objects, answer a few plant questions, learn about some super scary plants and, when you've done it all, show your form to our cashiers and receive a goodie bag prize! There is no charge to participate and no registration is required... and yes, grown ups can play too!

Insta-Incredible Fall Containers Demo & Do

Sunday September 24, 2pm

Let your porch be the envy of the neighbourhood! Pauline will be demonstrating how to make stunning seasonal containers and, if you want to stay afterwards to make your own, she will be there to guide you through the process. AppleFest

Saturday September 30, 11am-3pm

Join us in celebrating this amazing seasonal fruit! Highlights include:
Apple Inspired Cooking Demo with Chef Cam Armstrong (11am only)
Cam will be showing how to make a Spiced Apple Chutney and how to put a new twist on traditional Apple Crumble.
Fraser Valley Cider Company Apple Ciders (11am-2pm only) Learn about their amazing handcrafted ciders, made in Langley!
'Bad Apples' Troubleshooting Session (1pm only) Brian will be on-hand to help you identify issues your apple tree may have faced this year (pests, diseases etc.), and offer ways of preventing problems in the future, as well as touch on general success tips for fruit growing at home. Folks are welcome to bring in samples or images from their own gardens for identification too!
