Ready to really learn about raptors?
Youth Owl Classes Dec. 14 and 21, 11-11:45am This 45 minute session focuses on the secret lives of owls and why they are truly amazing in flight, hearing and eyesight. Each student will receive their own owl pellet for dissection and have a chance to meet one of the raptors or owls, like ‘Radar’, the Great Horned Owl! Adult Owl Classes Dec. 14 and 21, 12-12:50pm (FULL) This 50 minute session focuses on giving adults the correct information pertaining to raptors. The class will focus on raptor identification, feather design, how their bodies work, their habits and habitats. Participants will have a chance to meet one of the raptors or owls, like ‘Radar’, the Great Horned Owl! Pre-registration is required (12 participants per class). Suitable for ages 16 and up.
